Project Management experience is a plus

Nurture and manage relationships with key suppliers, managing different cost reduction and productivity projects, and new program sourcing requirements

Any other task assigned by supervisor or management

Work with the Commodity Manager growing long term strategic relationships with key suppliers.

Previous experience interfacing with suppliers within the PCBA commodity arena is ideal.

Aerospace environment experience is ideal, but not required.

5+ years of business development, marketing, and/or sales experience in a PCBA and Mechanical contract manufacturing environment.

2+ years’ experience in EMS industrial and Medical Technology sales desired.

Possess a BA/BS degree in engineering or business administration or equivalent experience, MBA preferred.

Able to organize and manage multiple priorities.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Proficient with PC-based software including CRM’s, Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Achieve quality assurance operational objectives by using X Ray inspections to screen out defective parts.

Meet quality assurance objectives .

Follow quality assurance plans by monitoring procedures, corrective actions, and verification procedures; monitoring inventories.

Execute assembly of the mechanical components according to the work instructions.

Label and scan the units according to work instructions.

Complete box build from PCBA level to final product

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

5 years of experience in PCBA, L10 (HLA) manufacturing.

Experience qualifying Surface Mount Technology (SMT) equipment, processes, and HLA.

Experience leading manufacturing partner initiatives.

Certification in Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB).

Define, develop, qualify, and optimize manufacturing processes.

Drive processes for volume production of PCBA including manufacturing execution, nonconforming product management, configuration management, traceability tracking, and process control

Own and manage PCBA processes and PCBA products for in-house production

Manage new product introduction of PCBA assemblies, working closely with design engineers, and process specialists

Manage work instructions, process documentation, and training

High volume production experience (consumer goods, automotive, etc.)

Hands-on experience working in SMT processing and/or related PCBA processes from industry, research, or academic projects

Contribute to teams' agile processes from start to finish including Scrum and Kanban management, deployment and testing methodologies, etc.

Manage a team of Electrical Hardware Engineers working in cross-functional and multi-location project teams.

Assist in determining schedule and budget requirements

MUST HAVE 8+ Years of Engineering Experience, ideally Electrical with 5+ years in a team leadership roles.

Experience in using agile processes and methodologies (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, Continuous Improvement) is a must.

Strong Presentation, Organizational & Communications Skills

Associates degree in manufacturing, mechanical, software, or electrical/electronic engineering technology or 1-2 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.

Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, mechanical, software, or electrical/electronic engineering technology or 3-5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.

Experience with PCBA equipment operation and programming

Certifications in IPC or an IPC trainer

Strong software and PC aptitude

Ability to quickly learn and comprehend advanced systems
