Overview Payroll Specialist USA is responsible for managing the payroll process for a company. This includes calculating and processing payroll, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and providing customer service to employees. Detailed Job Description The Payroll Specialist USA is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees. This includes calculating and entering payroll data, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and providing customer service to employees. The Payroll Specialist USA will also be responsible for preparing and filing payroll tax returns, reconciling payroll accounts, and responding to inquiries from employees and other stakeholders. Job Skills Required• Knowledge of payroll processing and related laws and regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• At least two years of experience in payroll processing
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification preferred
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of payroll processing and related laws and regulations
• Knowledge of payroll taxes and filing requirements
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Knowledge of payroll systems and software
Job Experience
• At least two years of experience in payroll processing
• Experience with payroll systems and software
Job Responsibilities
• Calculate and process payroll for all employees
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Prepare and file payroll tax returns
• Reconcile payroll accounts
• Respond to inquiries from employees and other stakeholders
• Provide customer service to employees
• Maintain accurate payroll records
• Prepare reports and analysis as needed
