Basic computer data entry and typing skills
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification strongly recommended
One (1) to three (3) years experience in a customer service field preferred
Two (2) years patient registration experience in a clinical/medical office setting preferred
Medical terminology, radio communications and switchboard/PBX experience preferred
Experience with general office equipment (fax, copier, etc.)

The Patient Access Schedule Representative is responsible for scheduling patient appointments, verifying insurance coverage, and providing customer service to patients. They must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Responsibilities include:

• Scheduling patient appointments in a timely manner
• Verifying insurance coverage and obtaining authorizations for services
• Answering patient inquiries and providing customer service
• Maintaining patient records and updating information as needed
• Assisting with other administrative tasks as needed
Job Skills Required
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency in computer applications
