Minimum of 1 year of professional childcare experience.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.

Assisting classroom associate/lead teacher with activities in accordance with curriculum objectives and developmentally appropriate practice

Utilizing sign language, storytelling and singing to promote language development

Experience as Teacher Aide or similar role with children with special needs

Excellent understanding of child development and educational methods

We are looking for Teacher Aides to provide educational support to our students.

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour

Bachelor's degree in fine arts with teaching qualification, or equivalent preferred

Prior experience as an art teacher preferred

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Outstanding planning and problem-solving skills

Employment is based on qualifications for the role

Planning lessons on art and art history in accordance with students' learning objectives

Develop an appropriate classroom management system to support the goals and developmental level of the children in the classroom

Ensure that children are always within state ratio requirements

Perform minor cleaning responsibilities (e.g., spills) immediately

Plan and implement activities to develop children’s self-esteem and social skills

Encourage families to become an integral part of their children’s learning experiences

Provide opportunities (e.g., conferences) in which families are made to feel a part of their children’s learning experiences

Ability to provide a high level of customer service to principals, classroom teachers, and parents

Must be able to lift 30 pounds

Work location is in a school building where employee will need to be able to go up and down stairs

Frequent standing and ability to raise arms above the head

Hand dexterity for typing and entering data into a computer

Travel Reimbursement (for some locations)

Ability to provide a high level of customer service to principals, classroom teachers, and parents

Must be able to lift 30 pounds
