Part Time Public Historian Jobs

1-2 years of experience in public relations, media relations, or similar roles.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Experience in a collaborative and creative work environment

Assist in researching and identifying potential media and influencer partnerships.

Help draft and distribute press releases, media alerts, and other PR-related materials.

Manage maintenance of Historical Museum, Copeland Home and Bowles Home

Experience: Over one year up to and including two years.

Schedule tours for GPISD school children on a consistent basis.

Coordinate with the community, historical and genealogical organizations to further enhance, curate and preserve history, museum and collection
