BS in Biology or a related field of study

Utilizes the knowledge of others to complete assigned tasks and completes requested tasks in the timeframe allotted by management.

Communicates concerns/barriers to progress with appropriate staff/management.

Experience - Required to have knowledge of pharmacy work, routines, materials and mathematics

Participates in committees as needed with manager approval.

Actively assists with new projects in addition to daily responsibilities.

Good customer and computer skills and working knowledge of insurance.

Prefer minimum of one year experience in medical clinic setting.

Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Prepares paperwork necessary for the patient visit.

Answers incoming phone calls and directs calls, makes appointments, performs Cashier duties as directed including posting of charges,

Collection of co-payments/co-insurance and balances due.

Efficiently/Accurately uses any technology/software used in the office to complete the job or as required by management

Participates in regular meetings and any other training as requested by management

Submits expense reports in a timely manner as directed by management

Runs errands outside the clinic as requested by management

Performs other duties as assigned by management

Accurately verifies benefits via phone, asking detailed questions outside of what is provided, and sets up accounts accurately
