Park Manager Iii Jobs

Supervise a team of 22 full time staff preparing work schedules, assignments and administering the performance management cycle.

Develop and implement Natural and Cultural Resource Management Plans for the parks 1,552 acres

Oversee the parks annual operating budget, all park operations and visitor services.

Educate the public about the parks natural, cultural, and historical resources through interpretive programs and events.

Salary Range: $76,596 - $121,296

Minimum of 3-5 years of successful retail management experience

Dynamic managership skills with the ability to recruit, hire, train, head, motivate, and develop future managers

Effective written and verbal communications skills

Extraordinary experience in Visual Merchandising

Take responsibility for store’s profitability and financial budgeting

Monitor inventory levels, facilities and other assets

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Budget oversight, advanced management principles, practices and techniques

Park service management and operations principles

Natural resource management practices to include prescribed fire and appropriate methods for control of invasive plants and animals

Minimum of 10 years work experience that demonstrates successful execution of similar duties and responsibilities in a commercial/industrial environment.

Must have manual dexterity necessary to complete all job duties.

Proficient skills in the construction, repair, restoration, and installation of wood or related materials.

Thorough knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and equipment used in both rough and finished carpentry in both residential and commercial/industrial settings.

Knowledge of all applicable codes, standards, and regulations.

Previous restaurant supervisory and/or management experience preferred.

To develop an open two-way line of communication between the staff and other managers.

To promote menu knowledge and suggestive selling among the staff.

To train, re-train and develop employee skills.

Life as an General Manager (Operating Partner):

Yearly Trip to Europe for 2 people (extra week of PTO)

Manages payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable process

English reading, writing, math and computer skills required
