Outpatient Pediatric Speech Therapist Jobs in Florida

Evaluates effects of treatment at various stages and adjusts treatments to achieve maximum benefit

Instructs patient and family in treatment procedures to be continued at home.

Develop a treatment plan for patients with specific goals and tasks

Completes documentation per clinical / department guidelines and meets expectations of monthly department chart audits.

Complete required orientation as directed by facility

Follow facility and OSHA safety rules and procedures while on assignment

Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree - Graduate from accredited Speech Therapy program required.

Licensure/Certification: Appropriate state Speech Therapy license required. Current ASHA certification (CFY or CCC) required.

Provides skilled speech-language pathology services consistent with licensure as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team.

Current certification in CPR required (American Heart Association)

Minimum of 1 year experience

Current license by the state of California Board of Medical Examiners as a Speech Therapist

Per Diem/Flex Schedule position is supervising Speech Therapy Assistants (not applicable to FT positions)
