Oracle Sql Developer Jobs in Maryland

Candidates should possess the following preferred skills, experience, and capabilities:

Twelve (12) or more years of SQL programming experience, and

Twelve (12) or more years of PL/SQL programming experience.

c. Development skills with Oracle PL/SQL (Packages, Functions, Procedures, triggers), Materialized Views, DBLinks, and Oracle Jobs.

d. Strong analytical skills for evaluating, documenting, and enhancing existing and new data models.

f. Knowledge of the following:

Updates technical skills and knowledge through continuous self-study, self-discovery, tutorials, and classes; and

Meets with non-technical staff to define user requirements;

Working knowledge of Oracle ERP technical database foundation and table structure and relationships;

Working knowledge of third party Oracle development tools such as TOAD and SOL;

Good communication skills to express business and technical concepts .

Designs, builds, and implements changes, extensions and enhancements to Oracle application program and reports according to software standards and conventions;

Financial Services / Asset management industry exposure/experience is a plus

10+ years of application development experience.

Experience with Agile development methodologies.

Experience with Agile SCRUM boards

Bachelor’s degree or relevant equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering or a related scientific or technical field.

MUST – SQL, SSRS, SSIS, Tableau, Snowflake, Boomi, Agile

5-10 years of SQL Development experience

Experience with query optimization and performance tuning

Knowledge of data security and privacy best practices

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
