They are responsible for ensuring that all machinery and equipment are running safely and efficiently. They must be able to troubleshoot and diagnose problems, and make repairs as needed. Detailed Job Description Operating Engineers are responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery and equipment. They must be able to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. They must be able to troubleshoot and diagnose problems, and make repairs as needed. They must be able to operate and maintain a variety of industrial machinery and equipment, such as pumps, compressors, engines, and generators. They must be able to inspect and test machinery and equipment to ensure that it is operating safely and efficiently. They must be able to perform preventative maintenance and make adjustments as needed. They must be able to follow safety protocols and procedures. Job Skills Required
• Knowledge of industrial machinery and equipment
