Our Maintenance team has openings for the Operating Engineer/Maintenance Mechanic to independently perform journeyman level duties in designing, constructing, installing, or maintaining building systems or equipment, ensuring that the finished product meets all standards and requirements for safety, is functional, efficient and comfortable for the occupants or users. Monitors problems in equipment or systems and recommends solutions to alleviate them.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates the ability to take a job from start to finish.
- Ensures complete, accurate and timely information is recorded on work requests.
- Notifies leaders of situations that are unusual or critical in nature.
- Follow up on problems after work is completed or transferred to another technician.
- Learns to operate new equipment, test equipment, tools and/or software as soon as possible after it is received.
- Prepares estimates which are accurately reflected at the completion of work.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- At least five years’ work experience in maintenance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Completion of a four year apprenticeship program in power plant operations.
Pay Range
$17.89 - $24.60 /hour
