Experience working with a CMMS (Computer Maintenance Management System) preferred

4+ years’ relevant experience and/or training; licenses, endorsements or an equivalent combination of education and experience required

Required to be on call as needed/deemed necessary by Supervisor/Management

1+ years’ experience with PLCs and water and gas analyzers preferred

Experience in maintenance of gas and solid fuel fired boiler controls and turbine controls preferred

The knowledge, skills, abilities and experience required for entry into this job include the following:

May train and guide less experienced Instrument Technicians.

Instrument Technician I: 0-2 years of related experience in an industrial environment

Instrument Technician II: Minimum 3 years of related experience in an industrial environment

Instrument Technician III: Minimum 5 years of related experience in an industrial environment

Candidates with diesel, hydraulic, UHP or HP water pumping experience preferred Knowledge of hydraulic circuits

To compile & complete maintenance work packs, update certification records and other documentation

Qualification in mechanical engineering or similar preferred

Previous experience in a service workshop environment

Good knowledge of mechanically operated tools or diesel engines

Must have good verbal and written communication skills

Experience working at a water/wastewater treatment or similar facility with a computerized maintenance/asset management system is desirable.

Recent experience with the use of SCADA and PLC hardware and programming software for troubleshooting system processes.

Good interpersonal skills, mathematical aptitude, logical problem solving, and recordkeeping ability.

Previous experience with High/Medium voltage systems and equipment preferred

Advance knowledge of Transformers, Motors, Controllers, Switchgear, relays, AC/DC systems

Utilizes Intelligent Instrumentation Management Computer system to track instruments throughout the local facilities.

Demonstrated customer service skills, customer focus abilities and the ability to understand Kaiser Permanente customer needs.

Minimum six (6) months of experience cleaning and sterilizing instruments.

High School Diploma OR General Education Diploma (GED) required.

Effective verbal and written communications skills.

Knowledgeable of a wide variety of sterilization routine and specialized instruments.

A minimum of two (2) years Biotech/Pharmaceutical or regulated industry experience is prefered.

Trade / Technical School certification or Certification in Craft required. Military equivalent of Trade / Technical School certification is accepted.

6+ years of related industrial experience

Provide troubleshooting skills across multiple interphases of electrical, power generation, pneumatic, and communications equipment.

Basic or above function knowledge of Alen Bradly PLC and latter logics

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Test, repair, program and/or calibrate instrumentation including pressure, level and temperature transmitters and control valves.
