Prior warehouse or relevant experience

Prior experience using power equipment to safely process freight throughout the facility (current and valid drivers license suffices)

Ability to meet or exceed attendance requirements, providing reliable and predictable attendance

Uses business knowledge, creative thinking, and make good judgment in problem solving

Familiarity working with computer systems and/or RF equipment

Ability to work safely, minding personal and team safety in daily operations

Skills and experience we look for in our Distribution Center Mechanics:

Coordinates with DC supervisors, managers, vendors and contractors for the scheduling of repair and maintenance services.

2+ years of journey level experience as an industrial mechanic, industrial electrician, conveyor installer or equivalent.

Experience managing parts inventory preferred.

Knowledge of conveyor systems, control panels, relays and sensing devices preferred.

Develops and maintains service records, including scheduled and actual maintenance; documents repair date, required repairs, parts or inventory souring, and cost.

Demonstrated ability to effectively convey knowledge, information, and skills to others through in-person and virtual sessions

2+ years of security experience, including CCTV usage, in a warehouse setting with a national brand (or equivalent experience)

Ability to apply effective analytical and critical thinking skills, solve problems independently and as part of a team

Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Internet, and Access Control Systems

CPR/First Aid/AED certified or ability to obtain certifications within first 30 days

Uses WMS (Warehouse Management System) to correct issues and ensure quality standards are met

Works in multiple areas processing freight; requiring different task actions, lifting requirements, and technology tools

Safely handles product in an efficient and trained manner; being mindful of personal and team safety in operations

Proactively and accurately communicates updates when processing product

Prioritize daily workloads to perform tasks at prescribed rates while working as a team in assigned department

These are the skills and experiences we look for in our Inbound Freight Coordinator:

Coordinates with all trucking vendors for empty containers/ trailers for pick up and removal from yard.

Determines how and to what location freight is to be palletized.

Oversees pallet recycling area; informs pallet recycler of full pallet trailer and coordinator unload when recycled cardboard arrives from retail stores.

Provides back-up and peak load assistance for drivers, truck unloaders/ loaders, staging area, recycling, merchandise movement as necessary.

Maintains Inbound Log Sheet while ensuring trailer availability per published replenishment schedule.
