Occupational Therapy Assistant Ota Home Health Jobs in Nevada

Associate's/Technical Degree in occupational therapy or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred

Two years' rehabilitative services experience or equivalent education: Preferred

High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred

One year's occupational therapy experience: Preferred

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: Required

Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA): Required

Assists in the evaluation of patients’ daily living skills and capacities to determine extent of abilities and limitations

Instructs patients and families in home programs, basic living skills

Minimum of one (1) year OTA experience, in corresponding setting

Cognitive skills as related to the position

Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Provide Occupational Therapy treatments to patients according to treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist
