They assess the patient’s physical, mental, emotional, and developmental abilities, and develop a plan of care to help the patient reach their goals. They use a variety of techniques, such as physical and cognitive exercises, to help the patient reach their goals. They also provide education and support to the patient and their family, and may coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the patient’s needs are met.
