Nurses also provide emotional support to patients and their families, and may be involved in the coordination of care with other healthcare providers. Nurses may also be responsible for administering medications, performing diagnostic tests, and providing treatments.

Nursing positions require strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
