Nurse Coordinator Neonatology Jobs

Collaborate with RN Educator to ensure AMAP training, certification and supervision of AMAP’s within assigned region; complete AMAP Certifications as needed

Assume basic responsibilities during RN vacancy to include report writing, incident reporting and attendance at meetings.

AHA or equivalent CPR certification.

Experience supervising large numbers of licensed and direct care staff.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES (include But Are Not Limited To)

A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience required; previous pediatric experience preferred.

Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent organizational and analytical skills.

Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.

License as a Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois.

Have experience with some of the following techniques: working with bacterial cultures, RNA extraction, qPCR, sterile cell culture, ELISA, fluorescent microscopy

Have experience working with animal models of disease

have experience working with animal models of disease

Have interests in infectious diseases, microbiology, host-pathogen interactions, reproductive health, or reproductive immunology

Under moderate supervision, run experiments, assays, and record results

Daily recording of experimental procedures and results in a laboratory notebook

Recent experience as charge nurse or equivalent management skills preferred

Demonstrated skills in teaching, communication, problem-solving, and project development/management required

2 years experience as registered nurse, with a preference for candidates who have prior clinical experience in dermatology or oncology

Demonstrated clinical competence and advanced knowledge in area of practice require

One or more years experience in ambulatory care preferred

Knowledge in specialty area of practice

Participates in educational activities offered by the business unit.

Dayshift, 7am - 7:30pm. Every third weekend and rotating holiday requirement

Minimum hourly rate: $19.00. Pay to commensurate with experience

Collects, documents, and reports data to the RN Care Manager but does not interpret data.

Identifies learning needs and attends continuing education as appropriate.

Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
