Minimum 7 years of nuclear power plant PRA experience, including familiarity with current risk-informed regulatory applications.

Experience working in a Nuclear Power Plant environment and familiarity with Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) governing codes.

Strong technical writing skills and attention to detail.

Problem-solving and general scientific evaluation skills.

Kennesaw, GA office or remote location

Responsibilities (including but are not limited to)

Knowledge of / experience with Nuclear Hardness and Survivability

7 years directly related, progressive technical experience (5yrs with MS degree)

Strong understanding of nuclear physics

General understanding of the nuclear environment that the weapon system may be exposed to, whether natural or hostile

Understanding of the fundamental mechanisms of ionization effects

Understanding of Single-event effects (SEE) and Single-event upsets (SEU)

Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

Prior experience working for the DOE Packaging Certification program.

Experience in teaching DOE Packaging Certification courses.

Strong technical skills of mechanical, structural analysis, and/or Monte Carlo radiation transport code experience.

Improve existing course material, and train new employees on how to teach DOE Packaging Certification courses

Perform all other job duties as assigned

Classroom training and written examinations

High school diploma or GED equivalent

Ability to obtain and maintain a secret level DOD security clearance

Associates Degree in a related field
