Nuclear Associate Electrical Engineer Jobs

Demonstrated experience presenting findings and recommendations to key management through reports and presentations

Demonstrated technical and administrative management of small-scale projects within the fuel analysis area

Demonstrated strong ethics and interpersonal skills, communication, and the ability to effectively manage stress and engage in continuous learning.

3+ years of experience in nuclear fuel engineering analysis

Demonstrated experience in fuel performance modeling and simulation

Demonstrated knowledge of nuclear plant licensing regulations, guides, codes, and standards applicable to fuel analysis methods

Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required of the position

Manages core performance monitoring and trending, fuel management and configuration control, and the Special Nuclear Material and Accountability program.

Supports Operations for maneuvers/core analysis/operating limits considerations. Supports Operations in Reactivity Control and Management.

Good to excellent communication skills. Experience/proficiency in PC use and applications, depending upon engineering level.

Experience in Man-made Nuclear and Natural Space Radiation environments and in Nuclear Hardness and Survivability (NH&S) engineering discipline/work

Computer skills including Microsoft Office and SharePoint

Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college in a STEM field, business, or equivalent experience/combined education

Experience managing customer/contractor Board meetings to gain approval for radiation-sensitive components and designs

Broad Knowledge of natural and/or nuclear man-made effects on EEE parts, materials, and systems

Project management skills a plus

B.S. degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent experience required

Prior experience in nuclear licensing or advanced nuclear is required

Excellent communications and writing skills
