Nuclear Associate Electrical Engineer Jobs in California

Conferring with commissioned electrical engineers and manufacturers' representatives concerning the District requirements for electrical systems and their installation.

Determining the most suitable type of electrical installations and computes sizes and capacities of equipment for large projects.

Preparing preliminary designs and layout sketches for personnel assigned to projects that involve major alterations to electrical systems.

Preparing specifications, cost estimates, and material lists for projects and reviews those prepared by others.

Reviewing and checking working drawings for conformity to sound engineering practice, District design standards, and applicable codes and ordinances.

Demonstrated experience presenting findings and recommendations to key management through reports and presentations

Demonstrated technical and administrative management of small-scale projects within the fuel analysis area

Demonstrated strong ethics and interpersonal skills, communication, and the ability to effectively manage stress and engage in continuous learning.

3+ years of experience in nuclear fuel engineering analysis

Demonstrated experience in fuel performance modeling and simulation

Demonstrated knowledge of nuclear plant licensing regulations, guides, codes, and standards applicable to fuel analysis methods
