Significant experience defining, scoping, and executing on analytical plans to address research or programmatic questions.

Analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills to develop creative solutions to complex problems.

Experience managing large projects and/or diverse, technical teams.

Substantial experience developing or informing organization or program level strategies and identifying prioritized opportunities.

Substantial experience mentoring and developing staff in your teams and managing interactions with leadership while building relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Experience working with the Department of Homeland Security, Department of Energy, Intelligence Community, and/or the Department of Defense.

At least 3 years of experience in the field of gender and development, preferably in the Asia-Pacific region

Experiences in the issues of women peace and security in the context of ASEAN regional inter-governmental process is an advantage

Proven experience facilitating high-level consultative workshops for ASEAN government representatives, dialogue partners, institutions, and civil society organisations (CSOs) in Southeast Asia

Knowledge of the Southeast Asia context related to WPS.

Previous work experience working with high-level government officials in ASEAN would be a strong asset
