Tidying up after the children

Simple family meal prep (preferred/not required)

Schedule: Monday – Friday 230-6p (17.5 hrs guaranteed)

Observe children's behavior and respond to it appropriately.

Regularly introduce different play activites with child.

Influence children's behavioral patterns and attitudes.

Be responsible for supervision of child while the parents are busy/away.

-Clean language, discussing only toddler-appropriate topics while with child.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

CPR Certified, familiarity with Montessori methodologies.

Must have a reliable & safe vehicle.

Asserting leadership abilities in the event of the Supervisor's absence.

Minimum of six months experience working with children in a childcare environment.

A college degree in early childhood education is preferred.

Being courteous and exercising tact when dealing with the public.

Being familiar with approved methods of problem behaviors of young children.

High School Diploma or equivalent.
