Effective time management and organizational skills

Established architectural millwork company seeks experienced Microvellum Commercial Millwork Drafter/Engineer.

Manage Microvellum system, product library, and standards

5 or more years of experience engineering commercial architectural wood products in an AWI environment

Extensive knowledge of millwork/casework construction, joinery, and hardware

Hands-on experience managing the Microvellum library

Works with project management and industry specialists to ensure that customer requirements are met

Stores programming files and are responsible for file management

Communicates to employees and other management members as required

Manages activities and performs duties consistent with all UFP policies, procedures, and applicable laws

Manages cost and profitability of the machining center

Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience with millwork shop drawings and machine programming

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, similar, or relevant years of experience

2 plus years of millwork estimating and sales experience

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

Ability to work without direct supervision, and efficiently manage tasks and time

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, similar, or relevant years of experience

2 plus years of millwork estimating and sales experience

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

Ability to work without direct supervision, and efficiently manage tasks and time

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Reviews and marks up architectural plans using Bluebeam for millwork and casework projects.

Understanding and experience in Architectural Millwork, High-end Residential, Moulding, Doors, Wood Products, Cabinet, etc.\

At least 3 years relative experience. \

CAD experience (has used it in the capacity of drafting/designing for at least a couple years). \

Southwest Florida! Right in the port/harbor off the Gulf of Mexico.\

Excellent starting salary, very competitive, 65K-75K base pay!\

- Relevant industry certifications and training are a plus.

- Previous experience in millwork engineering, including millwork release, CNC programming, or submittal engineering.

Job Title: Millwork Engineer - Architectural Millwork Firm

- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Produce shop drawings from architectural working drawings for use in a production environment.

Program commercial projects for both casework and custom projects that include; cabinets, trim, paneling, reception desk and other architectural woodwork.

Interact with staff to optimize project success.

Basic understanding of accounting and project management concepts

Acquire understanding of the requirements of the project/program at hand

Select advantageous deals by evaluating offers and quotes

Proven experience as construction estimator

Excellent knowledge of software including Prime 64 and INNERGY a PLUS

Excellent communication and negotiation abilities

Experience in cabinet casework manufacturing.

Strong communication and organization skills.

2-year Degree in Drafting or equal experience.

Knowledge of cabinet and countertop manufacturing industries.

Draw countertops to match up with casework shop drawings.

Ability to read and interpret Architectural plans.
