Associate degree (prefer technical, biomedical, instrumentation, electrical engineering or related) or equivalent military experience.

2+ years’ experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotics, electronic equipment, and/or in instrumentation.

Experience collaborating with internal team members and external customers.

Complete troubleshooting, installation, validation, preventative maintenance, modifications, and service repair needs on Beckman Coulter equipment.

Principles and practices of program management, analysis, and coordination.

Principles, methods, and practices of municipal finance, budgeting, and accounting.

Evaluation of education records will be due at time of appointment.

2. Training and Experience Exam

Participates and assists in the design, implementation, and installation of new and revised programs, systems, procedures, methods of operation, and forms.

Responds to complaints and requests for information; interprets and applies policies and procedures; adjudicates complaints.

Training and Experience Test: (Weighted 100%)

Initiate police written reports from citizens.

Receive incoming telephone calls from officers in the field requesting information.

Perform record and warrant checks, log and process served warrants, verify warrant status with outside agencies.

Process incoming crime reports, determine which divisions should receive a copy.

Assist the public in filling out reports and applications.
