Experience with CMS, data asset management, libraries, or digital collections

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

Receiving, managing, maintaining and organizing new and legacy materials to ensure access and discovery.

Exporting bibliographic records from OCLC into ExLibris Alma Network Zone, creating holdings and item records in the local catalog (Institution Zone).

Maintaining Alma holdings to reflect accuracy and currency.

1 year of experience in marketing, book publishing, book industry, account support, client administration, data management, or related field

Implements processes and adhere to standards for title metadata management, resulting in high data integrity and satisfactory audit practices.

Assists in client outreach for metadata management communications to client publishers on a seasonal basis, ensuring deadlines are met.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent year for year directly related experience

Book industry experience or strong interest in books

Experience in data storage management preferred.

Working knowledge of non-linear editorial software; experience with Final Cut Pro preferred.

Skilled with Numbers/Excel/spreadsheets. Ability to manipulate and reformat data for use between unconnected systems.

Ability to demonstrate strong spelling and grammar skills.

Experience with multi-camera content and logging systems preferred.

Intellectual curiosity about/experience with improving high volume workflows/pipelines and metadata ontologies/schemas highly preferred.

IBM Infosphere IGC at least 3-4 years experience

Experience in working with stakeholders

Overall data analyst/migration experience – 7-10 years

Experience working in cloud services for data: data warehousing, relational databases, business intelligence, data and metadata management.

Provide data governance and quality education and training on core data concepts, practices, standards, and guidelines.

Experience facilitating and/or participating on cross-functional teams, including influencing without authority across the organization and within complex contexts.

Experience managing projects and timelines across multiple teams with conflicting priorities.

Knowledgeable and experienced with data management processes, systems, and technologies

Define and execute enhancements to metadata management capabilities based on business needs and overall metadata management strategy

5+ years of experience with administering a metadata management solution (ASG Rochade or other solution technology)

Bachelor’s degree, military experience in related field

5+ years of experience working with data

5+ years of hands-on experience working with master data and metadata frameworks
