Overview Messaging Engineer I is a technical position responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of messaging systems. The Messaging Engineer I is responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of messaging systems. This position requires a strong technical background in messaging systems, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Detailed Job Description The Messaging Engineer I is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of messaging systems. This includes designing, configuring, and deploying messaging systems, as well as troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise. The Messaging Engineer I is also responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of messaging systems. This position requires a strong technical background in messaging systems, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Job Skills Required
• Knowledge of messaging systems, including SMTP, IMAP, and POP3
• Knowledge of messaging protocols, such as MAPI, ESMTP, and S/MIME
• Knowledge of messaging security protocols, such as TLS and SSL
• Knowledge of messaging system administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance
• Knowledge of scripting languages, such as PowerShell and Bash
• Knowledge of network protocols, such as TCP/IP and UDP
• Knowledge of system monitoring and performance tuning
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve messaging system issues
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• At least two years of experience working with messaging systems
• Certification in messaging systems is a plus
