Full-time Night Shift (37.5 hours/week) 11:00 pm – 7:00 am

Part-time Night Shift (22.5 hours/week) 11:00 pm – 7:00 am

Functional/Technical Skills – Having the skills and abilities to do the job at a high level of accomplishment

Customer Focus – Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers; act with the customer in mind

Approach all encounters with residents and associates in a friendly, service-oriented manner

Monitor residents’ well-being in a general way

Report any changes in the condition of a resident to supervisor immediately

Assist residents with simple requests as needed or find appropriate associate to assist

Have training and/or experience as a Med Tech

The small-scale residential “neighborhoods” of 15 residents

The person-centered model of care

The 4 on/2 off work schedule allowing you to know your days off well in advance

Have patience and the ability to relate to people with memory challenges

Based on state regulation, completion of training/certification is required.

Make Lives Better Including Your Own

Coordinates and administers medication to nursing home residents and provides supervision and guidance to clinical staff members

Documents the resident’s condition and nursing needs

Accurately and promptly implements physicians’ orders

Participates in orientation and in-service training for personnel

Ensures that supplies are utilized economically and that equipment is clean and maintained in a safe manner

Performs other tasks as assigned

Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or other management staff

Capable of assisting in care needs of residents, which might include lifting requirements up to 40 pounds

Work as manager on duty as directed by Executive Director/ Resident Care Coordinator

Keep current on First Aid/CPR and Medication Administration skills

Has familiarity and willingness to work with the elderly population. Previous experience preferred, but not necessary. We are willing to train!
