Monday - Friday 3pm-11pm

Monday - Friday 11pm-7am

Every Other Weekend

We are seeking both full and part-time employees to work 8-hour shifts and become part of our growing team. Both full and part time employees are eligible for benefits after a probationary period with minimum hour requirements.

JOB SUMMARY: In accordance with facility policies and procedures, our Medication Technicians are responsible for providing the highest degree of quality care and services by administering medication and treatments in a safe and organized manner.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Administers medications and performs treatments for assigned residents, and documents that treatment as required by Company, and local, state and federal rules and regulations
• Coordinates and administers medication to nursing home residents and provides supervision and guidance to clinical staff members
• Performs other tasks as assigned
• Accurately and promptly implements physicians’ orders
• Ensures that supplies are utilized economically and that equipment is clean and maintained in a safe manner
• Participates in orientation and in-service training for personnel
• Documents the resident’s condition and nursing needs

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Maryland Medication Technician License Required
• High School diploma/GED
