Medical Practice Biller Jobs in Arizona

A minimum of 2 years of experience as a medical biller or similar role.

Must have the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Outstanding problem-solving and organizational abilities.

Strong knowledge of medical terminology, coding systems (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS), and billing procedures

Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality

Education, Certification And Experience Requirements

Data entry and patient demographics verification.

2 years minimum of experience as a medical biller or in collections

Experience working with ICD-10, HCPCS and CPT Codes

Working knowledge of medical insurance & medical terminology

Working knowledge of private practice billing

Must be knowledgeable of basic nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care

Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.

Train with Assistant Business Office Manager (ABOM) to:

Ability to understand and implement healthcare reimbursement, billing and accounting principles.

Ability to understand, control and track direct spending and labor budgets

High school diploma or equivalent required, BA degree in Accounting or Business is preferred
