Serves as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) within the Transfusion Services section.

Oversee the storage of blood and tissue products in various temperature storage areas.

Process blood specimens and products for shipment to reference laboratories and other military medical facilities.

Assist the shift leader/supervisor in conducting inventories of supplies, and the ordering and restocking of supplies.

Medical Laboratory Technician - GS-0645-07 - Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center -

Computerized record keeping experience, preferably as a secondary school data person

High School Diploma or USA equivalency

Demonstrated ability to work with a minimum of supervision and direction

Oversee issuance of admit and tardy cards, as well as excuses for students leaving school

Ensure the maintenance of adequate and accurate student records with regard to class schedule, home address, telephone number, and attendance

Regular and punctual attendance at the worksite is required for this position
