Overview Medical Assistant Trinity Health Northwest is responsible for providing direct patient care and administrative support to the medical staff. This position is responsible for assisting with patient care, scheduling appointments, and providing administrative support to the medical staff. Detailed Job Description The Medical Assistant Trinity Health Northwest is responsible for providing direct patient care and administrative support to the medical staff. This position is responsible for assisting with patient care, scheduling appointments, and providing administrative support to the medical staff. The Medical Assistant will also be responsible for maintaining patient records, preparing patient charts, and providing patient education. Job Skills Required• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Ability to take vital signs
• Ability to perform basic medical procedures
• Knowledge of medical office procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Computer literacy
• Ability to work independently
Job Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Medical Assistant certification or equivalent
• Previous experience in a medical office setting preferred
• Ability to pass a background check
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of medical terminology

• Knowledge of medical coding and billing
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
Job Experience
• Previous experience in a medical office setting preferred
• Previous experience as a Medical Assistant preferred
