Marketing Student Assistant Jobs

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Assist in the creation and execution of marketing campaigns, including social media, email marketing, and advertising.

Conduct market research and analysis to identify target audiences and opportunities for growth.

Create engaging content for social media platforms and monitor analytics to measure performance.

Collaborate with team members to develop marketing materials such as flyers, brochures, and presentations.

Assist in the planning and execution of events, including webinars and conferences.

Positively market facilities and amenities offered by student housing

Positively discuss personal experiences living on campus

Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Must have knowledge of and willingness to learn about Ole Miss and the Department of Student Housing

Connect with and assist prospective and current students and their families via phone and email

Conduct student housing component of regularly-scheduled daily and special housing tours, working with other campus departments as needed

Work with managers to develop, write/execute and maintain accurate and up-to-date marketing content.

Experience with Adobe Software Programs (such as Premier Pro, Photoshop)

Basic knowledge of Farm Science Review

All aspects of video production (filming, editing, etc).

Participate in the creation, production, and implementation of social media posts.

Track analytics and identify areas to optimize online presence.

Project management skills and a demonstrated ability to effectively work on a team.

Excellent, written, oral and interpersonal communications skills.

Working in close coordination with Communications Officer, manage and build overall email marketing strategy and calendars.

Understanding of the Department’s affirmative action, sexual harassment, and other employee rights policies.

Gather images for two monthly newsletters and design graphics using Canva.

Create email lists or audience segments and help keep them organized.

Help execute SDSU Alumni's social media strategy through content and community management

Work with Director of Marketing to create graphics in Canva to promote campaigns, special offers, eNewsletter and other key priorities

Experience using Canva, Photoshop, InDesign, or comparable software

Experience creating content for Social Media platforms including Instagram and TikTok
