Manufacturing Shift Supervisor Jobs in Ohio

Bachelor’s Degree (Supply Chain, Management, Engineering, or other Technical Field) and 4 years manufacturing experience

Learn the technical aspects and become knowledgeable of work processes and products.

Performs other duties, tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Knowledge of Quality practices and instructions

Develop, coach and engage associates to drive a cohesive and thriving business unit.

Drive manufacturing, quality and on-time delivery through leadership and decision making.

Responsible for people management including: goal setting, performance management, competency development, recognition, engagement, and well being

Knowledge of manufacturing processes and systems

ETO or CTO experience preferred

Required 2 plus years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment

What qualifications will make you successful?

BS degree preferred or equivalent experience.

Minimum 8 years experience in a manufacturing environment.

Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA and Environmental regulations and employment laws.

Experience leading in a "change environment".

Applied knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPS, or other continuous improvement methodologies in a manufacturing environment.

Ensure employees have the proper training, skills, and tools to work safety.
