High School/GED with 8 years of relevant experience; 4 of which should be in a GMP manufacturing environment; AND

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a closely related field preferred, or a combination of relevant experience and/or education.

Over 5 years of experience in manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

Experience in Supervising, Coaching, Managing Processes, Process Improvement, and Production Planning.

Working knowledge of forecasting and budgeting processes.

Experience in a high mix/low volume manufacturing environment.

Capability to respond quickly, decisively, assertively, and professionally to changing requirements in demand, product description, and material demand.

Must have a basic knowledge of technical machinery or process equipment.

Experience in Microsoft Office and knowledge in ERP, Time and Attendance, and OEE systems

Owns and develops JDS and Skills matrix and creates a positive work environment, fostering open communication and dialogue

Industrial technology degree or equivalent work experience

Prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment

Lead and participate in root cause analysis and prior experience in Material Flow, Welding, Enamel Stamping or Robotics is preferred

Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery

Manage the workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules

Exceeding on all customer experience issues to exceed customer expectations.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on performance and progress and present them to managers

Manage and expedite flow of work and material for the production process.

Manage and veriry functions related to order entry, material tracking and inventory control for commissary and leather department.

Will manage labor (absence, vacation and OT) and other group expenses.

Ensure appropriate staffing levels and skills are maintained.

Manage employee performance issues and corrective actions.

1+ year experience as a Lead or Supervisor in a GMP Manufacturing facility required.

Bachelors Degree in a related field preferred or commensurate experience.

Experience in line operation and manufacturing practices strongly preferred. Previous leadership experience helpful.

Working knowledge of manufacturing equipment, systems and tools, as well as productivity principles and practices.

Knowledgeable in the areas of safe work practices and GMPs.
