Communicate effectively with management and with the operators in written and verbal form.
Analyzes equipment failures, determines root cause, and makes necessary adjustments or repairs.
Document maintenance activities and equipment.
Perform planned preventative maintenance and inspections on all plant equipment.
Maintain integrity of safety devices including light curtains, safety gates, barriers, etc.
Assist in installation of new manufacturing equipment, equipment modifications, components, and processes.

Detailed Job Description The Maintenance Technician 2nd is responsible for performing maintenance and repair work on a variety of equipment and systems. This includes troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. The Maintenance Technician 2nd is also responsible for performing preventative maintenance and ensuring that all equipment is in good working order. The Maintenance Technician 2nd will be expected to work independently and as part of a team to complete tasks in a timely manner. Job Skills Required

Job Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in maintenance and repair
• Valid driver’s license
