Maintenance Technician-2Nd Shift

The Maintenance Technician, who reports to the Manufacturing Engineer/ Maintenance Manager, is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining production and facility equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The essential duties and responsibilities of this job are included but not limited to this job description – other tasks may be assigned and expected to be performed.

• Analyzes equipment failures, determines root cause, and makes necessary adjustments or repairs.
• Maintain integrity of safety devices including light curtains, safety gates, barriers, etc.
• Execute all activities in a safe manner and follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Perform planned preventative maintenance and inspections on all plant equipment.
• Assist in installation of new manufacturing equipment, equipment modifications, components, and processes.
• Maintain MRO Inventory.
• Communicate effectively with management and with the operators in written and verbal form.
• Perform all other duties as required.
• Document maintenance activities and equipment.
