Overview A Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery. They ensure that all equipment is in good working order and that any problems are identified and fixed quickly. They may also be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on equipment and machinery. Detailed Job Description Maintenance Technicians are responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery. They inspect and troubleshoot equipment to identify any problems and then repair or replace any faulty parts. They may also be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on equipment and machinery. Maintenance Technicians must be able to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics in order to diagnose and repair problems. They must also be able to use a variety of hand and power tools in order to complete repairs. Job Skills Required• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
