Maintenance Mechanic Foreman Jobs

Preferred Experience and Special Skills:

Compensation: Proposed hiring rate of $36.50 to $41.60+, actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.

Be knowledgeable proficient in these areas:

Is able to handle and manage confidential information

High School Education or equivalent

Troubleshoot, analyze, repair, design, modify, and complete failure analysis on fleet vehicles including, but not limited to, trucks, vans and snowcats.

Residential, light commercial, industrial and/or commercial work experience.

EPA Refrigeration certification a plus.

Perform maintenance, repair, and replacement services on light commercial heating and cooling systems.

High School Diploma or equivalent.

** This is a Bargaining Unit Position.

Willing to work in a correctional facility.

**$1500 sign on bonus and $1500 yearly bonus for the first 3 years of employment**

Preference may be given to veterans who qualify under state and federal laws and regulations.

Replace switches, lamp receptacles, fixtures, ballasts, motors, fans, and filters.

Maintain and repair plumbing fixtures, lavatories, faucets, sinks, tubs, water heaters, and drain lines.

Patch holes in walls using sheetrock, plywood, tile, and plaster.

Maintain and repair heating, ventilating, and air conditioning equipment such as air compressors, dryers, and strainers.

Conduct preventative maintenance on mechanical and kitchen equipment.

Experience as maintenance mechanic or electrician with project management skills.

Training and supervising workers to ensure that they are able to perform their job duties safely and efficiently.

High School diploma or equivalent. Associate degree or trade certification.

Performing hands-on labor tasks such as electrical work, plumbing repairs, painting, etc.

18 Months of additional relevant experience = Associate's degree

36 Months of additional relevant experience = Bachelor's degree

54 Months of additional relevant experience = Master's degree

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Four years of experience performing building maintenance, construction, or general trades work; or

An equivalent combination of experience and training.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
