Pipefitter Journey/Helpers Jobs

Uses basic knowledge of regulations and requirements. Determines methods and materials needed to accomplish assigned tasks.
Four (4) years of experience in work involving a variety of layout, and installation for Journey and 6-47 months for Helpers.
Installs and repairs piping systems using flanged, screwed, bell and spigot, compression, and soldered joints.
Perform lockout and tag procedures to secure and deactivate equipment, and check local points to ensure proper lockout procedures are used.
Inspects work site to determine presence of obstructions and to ascertain that holes cut for pipe will not cause structural weakness.
Perform miscellaneous tasks that require manually moving materials, tools, and equipment and using hand tools and power tools.
