They are responsible for troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems, as well as performing preventive maintenance and repairs. Detailed Job Description Machine Maintenance Technicians are responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining machinery and equipment in a manufacturing or industrial setting. They must be able to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems, as well as perform preventive maintenance and repairs. They must be able to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. They must also be able to use a variety of hand and power tools, as well as welding and cutting equipment.
