Lumber Grader Jobs in New Mexico

Coordinates with management to perform block cutting and product evaluations based on quality concerns and/or parameters.

Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill.

Demonstrates experience with laboratory techniques for the measurement of chemical components, microbiological parameters, and sensory attributes.

Practical experience in QA techniques, principles, and adherence to government regulations.

Pulls plugs from 640lb sample blocks once product reaches 7 days to evaluate and grade plugs

Holds product beyond 7 days, for re-grading due to any issues

Required knowledge, skill and/or abilities:

Skills in reviewing and assessing mathematical and/or engineering problems

Knowledge and understanding of the principals, methods, and procedures for assigning grades to mathematical and/or engineering problems.
