They are responsible for loading and unloading cargo, inspecting and maintaining their vehicle, and following all safety regulations. Detailed Job Description Local Semi Drivers are responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods and materials over short distances. This includes loading and unloading cargo, inspecting and maintaining their vehicle, and following all safety regulations. They must also be able to read and interpret maps and road signs, and be familiar with the local area. They must be able to communicate effectively with customers, and be able to handle any customer complaints or issues. Job Skills Required
