American Sale, a family-owned, home recreation retailer for over 60 years, where we Make Every Day Better for our Customer. A staple in the Chicagoland area with (8) retail stores for all things home recreation, such as pools, spa, patio, game room and everything Christmas. “Bring the Fun Home”.

Position Summary:

American Sale has an immediate need for energetic Semi Driver to join our team. You will be responsible for driving to one of our (8) American Sale retail locations during the day (sometimes several stores in one day) and picking up or dropping off goods and materials, verify loads for accuracy and deliver them as instructed. Planning routes and meeting delivery schedules. Responsible for basic vehicle maintenance; comply with all safe work practices, policies and processes at all times and report defects, accidents or violations.

Requirements:

• Enjoy working in a team-oriented environment
• Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software
• Valid truck driving license
• No recent moving or driving violations
• Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
• Ability to assist warehouse department needs during downtime
• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.)
• Proven work experience as a Semi Driver
