Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business or equivalent work experience

Ongoing education in commercial lending/loan review

3+ years of experience as a credit analyst, Loan Review Associate, or risk analyst of a steadily growing commercial portfolio

Strong analytical and organizational skills

Working knowledge of computer programs such as Excel and Word

Proficient in management of lending/leasing products

Ensure that all credit deals remain compliant with covenant and originally approved conditions, and with bank and regulatory requirements

Undergraduate degree with 3-5 years of experience managing loan/lease products

Experience with loan/lease operating systems (ACBS/Loan IQ and Lease Wave preferred)

Experience with syndicated loan administration

Experience with compliance in a lending area

Skills: Underwriting Experience in Health/Life Insurance Background

·Evaluate eligibility and enrollment requirements of new enrollees to employer group plan

·Demonstrates professional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills

·Strong written and verbal communication skills

·Enter new group enrollment data to online system and appropriate worksheets

·Evaluate group enrollment materials for completeness

Ensure data quality and compliance with internal standards & guidelines and statutory requirements.

Enter contractual deal information into systems for consumption by other functions, such as Finance, Accounting, Claims and Reserving

University graduate degree in business, accounting, finance, insurance, or related field

Experience within the Property & Casualty (Re)insurance industry

Provide treaty underwriter support for non-client facing activities.

Fluency in English, written and verbal

1 to 3 years of experience in a finance function, preferably in a leveraged credit, investment banking or commercial banking environment

Strong analytical, financial modeling and research skills

Assisting the Underwriting Team in assessing new investment opportunities for the Firm

Significant experience in bank loan underwriting and research with in-depth quantitative credit, financial analytical, and critical thinking skills expertise

Analyst buy-side role with 3-5 years of overall experience with a generalist background

Demonstrated modeling, written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail

Significant experience analyzing CIMs, models, credit agreements, and term sheets

Some knowledge of consumer products, automotive, and retail industries helpful but not necessary

Underwriting of leveraged loan transactions as well as monitoring existing exposures within assigned industry sectors

Bachelor’s degree and no prior experience in the Administrative, Customer Service, Financial Services, Risk Management, or Insurance area OR

Knowledge of processing, rating and policy management systems used in the insurance industry

Supports Underwriter with broker/agent/distributor/customer interactions by providing basic customer service skills.

Knowledge of data collection and analysis

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Superior skills in relationship building, active listening with customers and coworkers

3-5 years underwriting support or related insurance experience required.

Responsible for high level of familiarity with specialty class of business, assigned territory and accounts.

Assists in the development of new processes, procedures and/or systems. Participates on committees and projects as required.

Trains and acts as a resource and mentor for other Underwriting Associates and Assistants.

Must be proficient with Microsoft Office suite as well as electronic underwriting systems.

Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Associate or Bachelors degree in Finance, Statistics, Math, Economics, Health Care, or business related field.

Excellent analytical and interpretive skills.

Process and load submissions into CRM and underwriting system.

Request additional information from producer if data is missing.

Send out quote requests to carriers.

Resolve outstanding questions on RFPs.

Demonstrates procedural knowledge of department policies and procedures, as well as the business and organization. Complies with company and regulatory guidelines.

May provide guidance to less experienced staff and serve as a resource to other functional areas.

2-3 years related Property & Casualty experience (Construction Experience a plus)

P&C Technical / Professional knowledge.

Demonstrates working knowledge of coverage forms, provisions for policies.

Effective communication skills, both oral and written, are essential.

Great organizational skills & time management abilities

Experience using customer communication tools (Zendesk), task management tools, Google Drive, and Email.

Tracking customer experiences across online & offline channels using logs, dashboards, and CRM systems

At least 2 years (and above) of experience under a US Loan or Mortgage account handling Underwriting and Fraud specific tasks

In-depth knowledge of US Underwriting

Experienced in customer-facing roles in a loan or mortgage account

Maintain a strong working knowledge of our administrative systems, product rules, Underwriting Guidelines and medical factors impacting mortality.

7+ years of previous Underwriting experience required

Ability to communicate difficult concepts and influence others to adopt a different point of view

Makes decisions that have cross-functional impact
