Must have at least 2 year's experience in running Metal press machines

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts desired

First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 03:30pm )

Running multiple machines: sizer, presses, rollers, spot welder, laser etch, pin stamp, brake press

Set up, operate, or tend machines to inspect, cut, shear, slit, punch, crimp, notch, bend, or straighten metal.

Quality checks during each production run to ensure product is set to standards

Starting pay is $19.34 + 5% shift differential (2nd and 3rd)

Visually check for defects and package finished ends in required patterns on the pallet

Inform inspectors, mechanics, supervisors, and other personnel about the quality of the product

Complete required paperwork including inspection and production reports

Knowledgeable in all label designs including construction attributes and label functionality.

Offers process improvement suggestions to improve products, processes and environment.

5+ years flexographic printing press experience

Previous experience working in press manufacturing environment

Strong communication skills in a professional manner with internal customers.

Ability to learn new tasks and accept new responsibilities

Basic math skills to read ruler and calculate label dimensions for stock optimization

3+ years’ experience in a production related environment

3:00pm – 1:30am; Monday – Thursday

Carry out accurately and precisely detailed instructions from job orders. Identify possible errors or problems and take prompt action to correct.

Set up/adjust press for job runs to meet specifications.

Monitor product for quality during job runs. Check preciseness of detail against specifications. Take action to correct any problems.

Establishes printing quality by pulling proof sheets; adjusting ink distribution, press speed, water distribution balance, differentiating color, and setting drying temperatures.

Maintains production and quality by inspecting random production samples; loading paper; adjusting settings and controls; correction feed and delivery issues.

Ensure that ALL ISO 9001:2000 Procedures, Work Instructions, 6-S, and QPOC’s are followed.

Minimize downtime, troubleshooting stoppages and breakdowns, calling for Maintenance assistance. Ensure consistent Printing Machine operation by completing preventative maintenance as required.
