Limited Xray Technician Jobs in Indiana

Under minimal supervision, performs basic to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures, as requested by a licensed physician.

Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.

Other related duties as assigned.

Assists practitioner with fluoroscopy, arthrography, OR procedures and trauma

Required: Graduate of accredited Imaging Program

Two years experience in conducting research from multiple sources, analyzing data collected and preparing reports, letters, and administrative documents.

One year experience in using an automated information system to enter, update, modify, delete, retrieve/inquire and report on data.

One year experience in using standard computer software programs for word processing, spreadsheets or databases.

Applies agency laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures in maintaining and processing agency information.

Assures effective coordination of operational functions.

Establishes tracking and monitoring systems and conducts follow up to ensure effective resolution of matters.

Educates patients regarding osteoporosis prevention and management.

Follow compliance requirements of certification and licensure mandated by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

Initiate notification to management if inappropriate behavior is observed within the organization.

Provides educational bone density information and brochures to patients.

Reviews and completes medical history sheets, fee tickets and enters recall requirements on each patient.

Enhances professional growth through educational programs and workshops.
