Plans, lay-out, diagram, install and/or repair wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus and control equipment in accordance with those plans and specifications

NCCER Electrical NCCER Electrical and Instrumentation Technician NCCER Pipeline Electrical and Instrumentation Technician State Electrical License

Perform all duties and responsibilities of the journeymen electrician

2 - 4 years of recent Journeymen experience preferred.

General Journeyman Electrical License in OR and/or WA

Perform all electrical tasks with general supervision

Read and accurately interpret construction electrical drawings, terminate cables, and install and trouble shoot control wiring from drawings

Frequently works from complicated wiring diagrams requiring a knowledge of modern and up-to-date equipment and developments in the electrical field.

Instructs workers of lesser skill and is responsible for work of sufficient accuracy to comply with standards of National Electric Code.

Journeyman card or equivalent experience required

Maintains and cleans motors, installs bearings, etc.

Locates and corrects any line faults or grounds.

Installs and repairs all electrical generating equipment including battery chargers.

3 + years experience (or 4000 hours of documented work experience)

Basic math skills are a must

Strong communication and customer service skills, friendly and approachable

Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception

Operate a variety of hand and power tools

Demonstrate Respect, Compassion, and Integrity when communicating with clients

Must comply with the living requirement for this position (PA-5)

Knowledge of various electrical test equipment

Experience in identifying safety hazards and teaching safety protocols

Work with team to maintain positive team morale and work environment

Constantly look at process improvement to ensure optimal team effectiveness

Have or be able to learn a broad spectrum of job tasks required with a solid electrical and mechanical aptitude

5+ years of experience as a field Electrician

Oil and gas field experience a plus
