Mid Level Interior Designer Jobs

Knowledge of space programming, contract documents (including detailing, specifications, production management, design production), and contract administration

At least four years of post-graduate, professional firm experience

Project typology experience in university, healthcare, or laboratory design and renovation

Strong design and graphics skills

Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills with various levels of individuals including clients, consultants, and architects

Bachelor of Architecture degree or a Master of Architecture degree

Ability to specify and complete data sheets for general instruments.

Ability to size conduit and wire for low voltage instrument and control circuits (600 volts and less).

Familiar with loop diagrams, instrument indexes, P&ID’s, panel schedules, wiring and connection diagrams.

Familiar with equipment including Distributed Control Systems, Programmable Logic Controllers, Single Loop Controllers, power supplies.

Hands-on experience working with customers to build and formulate business requirements.

Collaborate with business partners to understand needs and define requirements for websites and software applications.

Collect and analyze user behavior through in-person usability testing, remote usability testing, click-stream analytics, surveys, card sorts, field studies, etc.

Portfolio demonstrating breadth and creativity and proven experience building wire frames, and developing prototypes.

3-7 years of experience designing usable interfaces for the web using a variety of methods.

Experience working in Agile development a plus.

Collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams including sales, project management, and development

Perform project discovery and requirements gathering

Experience in gathering both quantitative and qualitative data and converting into actionable insights

Visual design capabilities with a good sense of type, color, and layout

Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

Self-manage small scale design projects if needed

Minimum one-year experience required, two to three years preferred

Must have some previous work experience in an architectural office

Strong Revit and Construction Document preparation skills.

Graduate of accredited architecture school with a Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture degree

Ideal candidate will have strong 3-D modeling/rendering

Strong verbal and written communication, document layout and time management skills

7+ years previous Graphic Design experience

Experience designing web applications using Google Material Design

Document and communicate the user experience

Skilled with UX design software (i.e. Figma, Sketch, InVision, etc)

Minimum 3 years successfully designing the user experience for digital products

Collect development and design requirements for user interface research.

Project management experience a plus

Understanding of ergonomics and wire management

5-7 years of professional Industrial Design experience in relevant product categories

Excellent written and verbal communication skills (must present ideas and information in a clear, concise, well-organized manner)

Well-developed sketching, drawing, visualization, and rendering skills

3D printing and/or model-making experience

1-2 years of design experience and implementation on residential projects preferred

Knowledge of furniture, fabric, rugs, and accessory sourcing

Excellent graphic, communication, and organizational skills

Good interpersonal skills, thrives in a collaborative environmen and understands the importance of supporting design team members

Ability to follow through and manage up

Ability to work on and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, ability to prioritize workflow in order to meet deadlines
