Learning Program Leader Jobs

Organize and lead a variety of recreation, educational enrichment, special events, and other community programs and activities.

Position/job titles will not be considered in determining eligibility for meeting the minimum qualifications for this position.

Lead various recreation and program activities and special events.

Lead and instruct others in specialized recreation activities.

Organize and promote neighborhood and community events.

Request, issue, and monitor the return of supplies and equipment; check equipment for proper care and use.

Training and/or experience treating individuals diagnosed with serious mental illnesses

License eligible or licensed as a Psychologist in Missouri

Knowledge of management and recreational practices, policies, and procedures as necessary in the completion of daily responsibilities.

Ongoing Training Opportunities and Career Development – Government Wide Learning Management System

Assists with the management of daily operations of the facility and short and long-range program planning.

Assists with preparation and management of facility rentals and groups.

Practical experience with learning management systems and authoring tools

Bachelor's degree in Education, Organizational Development, Business, or Related field. Relevant experience may be substituted, year for year, for academic achievement.

Demonstrated training project management expertise, managing complex training efforts with shifting timelines and involvement of various stakeholders

Overseeing learning function with direct leadership support and responsibilities

Minimum Five (5) years’ experience in developing and leading adult training programs including measuring effectiveness

Expert knowledge of adult learning theory, methodologies, and processes
