Exceptional management and instructional skills.

Minimum 3 years' work experience as a Learning & Development Specialist, Training & Development Manager, or Training Manager.

Gauging team members' requirements and how coaching might best address these.

Assisting team members in developing skills and qualities, such as communication, leadership, reliability, and confidence

Pertinent Coaching qualification – ICF or similar.

Knowledge of Social Media Marketing channels - Google+, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and LinkedIn to better understand team members’ business goals.

The successful Consultant will, at minimum, satisfy the following qualifications:

At a minimum, the Consultant must provide a team that meets the following qualifications:

• The Consultant must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience working with diverse clients.

• The Consultant/organization must have access to coaches with a variety of backgrounds (i.e., public, private)

• The Consultant must be willing to travel to any Seattle City Light location(s).

Assist with data entry, collection, and management for Cityspan and other DFSS-designated platforms

Bachelor’s Degree in Social Services, Human Services, Education, or related field experience preferred.

Ensure applicants meet program eligibility requirements.

Ensure applicants are successfully matched to a worksite that best fits their skill sets and interests when possible.

Facilitate weekly job readiness workshops, financial literacy workshops, and work readiness skills assessments, and administer the Working IMPACT assessments.

Reports all suspected cases of fraud, work abandonment, or misconduct by an employer or employee to the Manager of Workforce Development.

Master’s degree in social work, management, education, organizational development, or related area.

Experience as supervisor or manger in education or public sector or not-for-profit. Child welfare experience a plus.

Motivate and inspire leaders to achieve objectives by facilitating discussions using practical examples and real-life experiences.

Perform day-to-day operational responsibilities, including the set-up and closeout of learning spaces, including virtual training platforms.

Five years’ experience providing professional coaching for leaders.

Evidence of effective problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
